Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Bars

Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola Bars | VG | GF | RSF |

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 2 tbsp ground flax seeds

  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp date syrup

  • 3 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add in the rolled oats, cacao powder, chia and flax seeds, and chocolate chips. Mix everything together until well combined.

  2. Add in the peanut butter and date syrup. Combine these with the dry ingredients. You may need to use your hands to get everything to stick together.

  3. In a loaf pan lined with parchment paper, add the granola bar mixture and press down into an even layer. Drizzle more peanut butter over the top and add extra chocolate chips if desired.

  4. Put in the fridge for a couple hours and then cut into bars and enjoy! Keep stored in the fridge.
