Ingredients
1 1/2 cups + 2 tablespoons fine almond flour
1/2 cup cacao powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
8 tablespoons melted coconut oil
1 cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon date syrup
4 tablespoons water
Chocolate chips (as many as your heart desires)
Peanut butter to drizzle on top
Instructions
Pre heat your oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add in your dry ingredients - almond flour, cacao powder, salt, and baking soda and stir to combine.
In a smaller bowl, melt the coconut oil and then add in the coconut sugar. Stir together until a wet sand consistency forms. Next add in the vanilla, date syrup, and water.
Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until the cookie dough comes together. Fold in your chocolate chips.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop out cookies and place them on the baking sheet. Flatten the cookie dough balls a little and then bake at 350 for 13-15 minutes.
Drizzle with some peanut butter and let cool on a cooling rack. Enjoy!
