Lemon Glazed Donuts

Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup spelt flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup water
For the glaze ~
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp tahini
Instructions
Pre heat the oven to 350. In a large bowl, add in the almond flour, spelt flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt. Combine well.
In a small bowl, add in the fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, pure maple syrup, and water. Whisk well until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the larger bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix until everything is well combined and you have a smooth batter.
Divide evenly in the donut baking pan, it should make six donuts total.
Bake the donuts at 350 for about 25 minutes. While those are baking, make the glaze.
In a small bowl, add in the maple syrup, lemon juice, and tahini. Mix well until smooth.
Once the donuts are done, let cool and then dip each one into the glaze. Top with some fresh lemon zest and enjoy!
