Raw Vegan Brownies

Ingredients
Brownies ~
1 cup soft medjool dates
1 cup raw walnuts
1/3 cup cacao powder
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut chips or shreds
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon date or maple syrup
1 tablespoon cacao nibs
Frosting ~
2 tablespoons raw almond butter
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon date or maple syrup
water to thin
Instructions
Line a 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with some parchment paper. Gather all of your ingredients and get out your food processor.
If your dates are not very soft, soak them in some water for a few minutes and then drain and rinse them.
Add all of the brownies ingredients in the food processor and pulse until a sticky dough forms.
Press the brownie mixture into the baking dish and spread into an even layer. Set in the freezer while you make the frosting.
Add the almond butter, cacao powder, date or maple syrup, and a splash of water in a small bowl and stir together. Add another splash of water to thin if necessary.
Take brownies out of the freezer and pour the frosting over the top. Spread evenly over the brownies. Top with some cacao nibs, hemp seeds, and coconut if desired. Place back in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Cut the brownies and enjoy! Store in the fridge or freezer.
